Good Read
The characters really are real and it took some unsuspecting turns. I appreciate a thought provoking storyline that’s not predictable. Thinking about backtracking to read the Jenkins series.

The story was ok. A bit predictable in the beginning. It didn’t elicit any emotion from me. At one point I wondered if I was ever going to get to a climax of the story. The beginning seemed to drag on a bit. The characters didn’t grasp my attention. They just felt like normal everyday people with issues and lots of drama. I didn’t fall in love with them or feel connected to them. The story wasn’t bad.. I just wasn’t sucked into it much and was kind of wondering when it would end. There wasn’t a lot of passion either. Even the small amount of spice didn’t feel exciting. Overall.. not a terrible book.. but not great either.
