Cat’s job is to make sure Hunter stays out of trouble but she also wants to help him rehabilitate his image. Hunter just wants to get to the end of the season without any drama so he can continue to support his entire family. Cat and Hunter are immediately attracted to each other. Unfortunately, Cat’s dad has one rule, his players need to stay away from his daughter. Easy right? These two characters are angsty, fun and real. You will wish that you were friends with both of them.

Tate hates any and all media ever since they descended on his uncle’s funeral and his family was hounded outside their home after his uncle’s death. Now, he is in the last year of his current contract and his performance this season will impact negotiations for his next contract. Chloe lives to get the story and wants to live up to her dead father’s reputation. Chloe overhears a conversation in a bar that Tate is having some issues with his back and shoulder and decides to investigate further. Even though they rub each other the wrong way, their friends all see the attraction between them and decide to set them up on a “blind” date. What could go wrong with that?Their banter is witty and their exchanges crackle with tension. These two characters were made for each other. Highly enjoyable read.
