A gripping opposites attract romance about two star-crossed lovers and a secret that could threaten everything... Including their lives.
Weston Bradford entered my world in a whirlwind.
Or, more accurately, during a torrential downpour.
After our brief encounter, I didn't think I'd ever see him again. Not in a city the size of Atlanta.
Until I agree to take on a historic home renovation and learn the owner is none other than the same Weston Bradford.
We're as opposite as two people can be, but there's no denying the spark between us that grows stronger every day.
But my past has left me broken and scarred, forcing me to erect walls around myself. That doesn't seem to deter Wes, though. He's more than happy to scale those walls to possess the one thing I swore I'd never give another person again -- my heart.
When the past collides with my present in an unexpected way, will he stand by my side and weather the storm threatening to destroy everything? Or will he abandon me like everyone else in my life?
Possession in the first book in the Possession Duet. Start this story of two star-crossed lovers today, and find out if love truly can conquer hate.
Amazing, I loved the message of this book and how much the female lead grows.
I agree with others that it ends on a cliff-hanger, although I can see what will likely happen. Too much graphic sex, too much foul mouth, not a prude but fail to see the necessity for it.
I did buy the second half, read two chapters so far, proceeding exactly as I expected. Surprise - Jay is Julia’s husband. Wish I had not spent the money. I need a break - we’ll see if I finish the book. Undoubtedly, Londyn will get off after Wes steps in with his money and power. She was being handcuffed at the end of chapter two for shooting Jay in self-defense.
The storyline was slow to develop, but good. I was very disappointed that it was a cliffhanger. I would have never invested the time if I had known earlier.
