Winter 1984:
International singing sensation Nathan McKendrick had it all—the looks, the talent, the charisma. It's not surprising that half the world was infatuated with him! No one more so than his wife, Mallory. The success of their marriage had always defied the odds—and the rumors. Then, suddenly, the bond between them was damaged, and Nathan and Mallory had to choose—fight for the love they still shared or let circumstances destroy it.
In the end, there was only one choice. They had to save their marriage.
And now, every year that goes by, every Christmas they spend together, reminds them that their love is everlasting….

Snowflakes on the Sea
Snowflakes on the Sea is a big disappointment!! I was excited in the first few pages thinking I was about to read a wonderful story of a couple's life of raising four children to adulthood. Instead the next 350 pages of text were a repetitive boring scene of mistrust, unhappiness and then sex. Nothing was ever resolved and then the story ended with a scene 40 years later than the opening scene with four grown kids and grandchildren coming home for Christmas. There is no meat to this book and it was a waste of my time to read it.
I am an avid reader and Linda Lael Miller is one of my most favorite writers. I have all of her books and pre-order her new books without even knowing what the book is about. For the first time ever, I will be hesitant to purchase Ms. Miller's books in the future.
