Criminal Minds meets The Mummy movie
This book went into an entirely different direction than I thought it would. When I first started, I assumed it would go a fantasy/magical/curse route like The Mummy Movie. But it was still a great read! It as very edge-of-my-seat enticing and I appreciate the past/present here/there viewpoints. It kept the plot interesting. (Spoiler) I will say I expected more of Yara’s takedown. It felt like that specific part was just too fast. But then again, they’d evaded her like 4 times before that so maybe it was fitting. (End spoiler) Overall, I hope we see an installment where Adrian finds her dad!! Great book. Definitely read if you like Criminal Minds, Law and Order, CSI and movies like The Mummy. It gives me those vibes.
Just the tip of the iceberg.
A fabulous read, with endless action and adventure. Well done.
