Publisher Description
I've spent my life hunting treasure. Then I pulled an heiress out of the sea.
She's half-drowned, clinging to a buoy in the middle of the ocean. Beautiful. Desperate. Worth more money than most men will see in a lifetime.
Rescuing her is easy.
Letting her go is another matter.
I'm a modern-day pirate. I've made my fortune taking what other men are foolish enough to lose. And now I've found a woman whose ransom could buy me anything I want.
Except I don't want the money.
I want her.
I'll keep her aboard my ship. In my bed. Far from the people who would pay a fortune to have her back.
But the sea is full of enemies, and the longer I keep her, the more dangerous this becomes.
I've spent my life taking what I want.
I've never wanted anything I couldn't afford to lose.
The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is the first book in the Poseidon trilogy by USA Today bestselling author Amelia Wilde.
Customer Reviews
I just don’t jnow
I understand box that mix reality and fantasy but I have no idea what’s going on with this book. It’s so strange. Not bad…just different. The writer does a great job sucking you in and giving you a clear picture of the scene. I just never had a clear picture of what was going on with Poseidon. Also how cruel he sounds in regards to his crew. I’m assuming subsequent books would enlighten me.
Bad
Jumped all over the place, poor character development and beware it’s a series so it just stops before the story is done.
