I didn’t want to ask him for a favor.
He was the cockiest hockey player I knew.
And my brother’s best friend.
I needed to learn about the game, and he was down with a concussion.
I didn’t realize he had an agenda of his own.
One that involved showing me his off-ice plays.
I should have said no.
Should have kept things in the central zone.
But one sweet taste was a game changer, and the only words on my lips were yes.
Until a lifetime of secrets spilled out…

Good read.
Okay
It’s an okay romance but it’s not a good hockey romance. There is next to no actual hockey in the “hockey romance “.
Too many authors are jumping onto the hockey romance bandwagon. The results are disappointing.
If you’re looking for a really great hockey romance, this is not the book to read.
It’s OK, but consistency is a problem
I understand the need to produce a book quickly, but it would be nice if the author could do a better job at proofreading and editing. Likewise, the author never seems to settle on the team’s name: is it the Storms or the Shooters? (and don’t even get me started on how bad of a name that is). No major plot holes, but questions do arise at points — such as why is the team on a month-long away trip? Perhaps the author needs to learn as much about hockey as the heroine.
