A spin-off from the best-selling series Something So comes a whole brand of crazy & wild love stories.

Zara Stone

All my life, I've said I will never date a hockey player. I know better because I've seen and lived it all. My father is a hockey god, my brother is the captain of the most successful NHL team in the world, and my brother-in-law also plays in the league. Their lives are complicated, so I went in the opposite direction.
I fell in love with a scholar. But instead of proposing marriage, he broke up with me.
Three months later, I saw his engagement picture on Instagram. I couldn't let him get away with that. No, it didn't matter what, I was going to make that man see that I did not need him.

Evan Richards
I was in the running to pass my point record from last year, ready to claim the number one spot in the league. On top of my game, I was riding my career high wave.
Then, Hockey's Princess, Zara Stone tweeted me. She wanted me to crash her ex's wedding.
The worst that could happen? A PR nightmare. The best? A fun night with a beautiful woman.
It started out as a game—something I'm good at. Her crazy idea twisted into something I wasn't looking for, something neither of us wanted.

When push comes to shove, one thing

It was a decent book. Held my interest enough to finish it. I’ve read some of her others in the series and liked them. Some issues with this were: 1. There’s a lot of typos to the point where it can get confusing esp if you haven’t read the other books. Like at one point she referred to her biological sister as her sister-in-law and I had to go back to see who they were talking about. 2. I think the author spends too much time over-describing things in this book. Like at one point I read two pages of her just describing his house and it’s not like it was important to know later on in the book. 3. I wish more time was spent on developing the characters; take out the two pages of over-description and develop the characters and their romance more. 4. I also feel like at some parts of the book, the author wrote stuff like we should already know. I found myself re-reading parts like did I miss something? For example, the point where they run into her ex, spends the whole time drunkenly talking about her ex and then when he confronts her, the explanation fell short so much so much so that it made me question if I even read that part correctly (which I did.) There’s a lack of flow.

Overall, I’d still recommend it because it’s a cute story.

Couldn’t finish it

This book is so hard to read. The way it’s formatted makes it difficult to follow who is saying what. There are inconsistencies with POV, spelling and grammar errors. I only made it a few chapters in. As another reviewer said, there is also way too much description for things that don’t matter.
