For those in doubt about the benefits of low intensity training

A big part of the book is dedicated to providing evidence on the benefits of the 80/20 training rule, meaning spending about 80% of your training at low intensity and about 20% in moderate and high intensity. If you are skeptical about this rule, you may want to read this book. Otherwise, if you are already training following this rule, the book provides some training plans you may want follow depending on your running goals.
