The neighborhood coyotes are up to their usual nefarious doings, slinking around and hoping for a quick bite to eat from the sumptuous buffet found on the author's farm, including miniature horses, chickens, a goat, and dogs. Coyotes aren't the only animals who think they own the hobby farm—bald eagles, hawks, turkey vultures, and a revolving cast of other critters make their appearance on a daily basis, and add to the utter mayhem of the author's day-to-day life on her farm.
