This is a short story and serves as a prequel for the new series, so here we get to know the 3 first couples in the Hockey Hotties (I honestly don’t know if it’ll have more than 3).

It’s New Year’s Eve and 3 hockey players and best friends, Aiden, Maksim and Ford are ready to go to the boss party! There they meet their lady love prospects in Saige, Lena and Paisley. I loved meeting them and know a little of their personalities and issues.

Aiden is going through rough patch in the game and thinks his out of luck. Ford is the troublemaker not only to his team, but to his family as well and Maksim is the Russian player in and out the field. I love all the girls, they are sassy and their banter with the guys are awesome, but I’ll let some of their specifics to their own story!

I was super excited for Aiden’s book, because the number 13 is my lucky number and I dare who says otherwise, but after listening to the audiobook, I’m obsessed with Maksim! That accent was super amazing and I can’t wait for a full book with his amazing voice, it gave him a full life in my head. By the way, other than the story, the audiobook was a highlight with Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell giving multiple voices and accents, it gave another dynamic to the story. I’m so excited for this series! Sports romance it is my jam!
