Death at the Pavilion

This is the 28th of the Pitkirtly Mysteries, a series of quirky mystery novels set in a fictitious small town on the south-west coast of Fife, in Scotland.
An afternoon tea expedition for Sprightly Seniors goes badly wrong, while Amaryllis battles to save a site close to her home from being redeveloped, and Zak and Kyle investigate a widespread attack on businesses in Pitkirtly by internet trolls. For a while it seems unlikely that any of these problems can possibly have anything to do with each other, but the process of dealing with them results in some surprising connections being uncovered. Christopher’s role, as always, is to keep his new head of department at bay while eating the doughnuts that appear at regular intervals, and to maintain his office as a venue for impromptu meetings of the usual suspects.
