Eli Takes a Wife

17 year old Eli Bevins has to grow up fast--having the responsibility of running the family farm by himself while still attending high school. He develops a strong attraction for an older woman named Amanda, one of his school teachers--who also happens to be his sister-in-law. Circumstances put them together alone on the remote river bottom farm because of his brother--and her husband, Jonah's incarceration. Eli and Amanda's mutual attraction turns to love which results in homicidal intentions until a four pound baby boy changes everyone's plans.
