Finding Sam

Single mother Sam Martin could use a break.

Her ex-husband won’t take no for an answer, her past follows her everywhere she goes, and she’s watched her dreams fade away, one brush stroke at a time. All she wants now is to keep her son safe and keep her head down in her little Hermosa Beach cottage.

Then she meets community doctor Erik Maystrom, a man who sees every part of her she’s tried to hide and wants her anyway. He offers her a chance to paint again, and with it, a life she stopped believing she could have.

But Sam knows better than to trust anything that seems too good to be true. As she lets Erik closer, her ex-husband has more to lose, and he’s never been good at letting go.

Loving Erik means letting him see all of her, the scars and the mistakes and the past she’s never told anyone. And that past is about to come looking for her.
