Four Buttons Pushed

In “Her Turn,” Dustin is a high school student who is upset that his mother seems to may have forgotten his birthday. As he ventures through a challenge of betrayal, he realizes that he has never been forgotten. But what he doesn’t know is that he is in for a deadly surprise.

“Recovery’s Imagination,” follows a young lady in her mid-twenties who is released from a mental facility with the hopes of regaining access to her normal life. She was able to convince the doctors that she was mentally equipped to navigate life on her own again, but Joanna cannot hide from herself.

“My Brother’s Lover,” journeys through an evening of trauma for Kai and his brother July, when he realizes that his girlfriend Emma has been plotting a lover’s escape. Only Emma’s escape plan turns into an unanticipated nightmare never to return from.

“I Judged Your Cover,” is a short story about a troubled Soldier with an unpleasantly pleasant supervisor. What she finds is that she had been nurturing a politely toxic, mental outlook on life and the people around her and blaming it on her supervisor’s actions. This is a reflection of how the mind can keep you stagnant in dark places if you are not aware of how to filter and calibrate you own mind.
