Frank McCord and the Foghorn Blues

Detective Frank McCord steps from the dense fog onto the quay at Abernathy Town and the tangle takes him. Paula is still dead. That has not changed, but in that instant on the quay, everything else has changed and he is in a new world. Once more Frank's guilt drives him to the sea, but this day is strange and different. The foghorn from the days of the great sailing ships is back and its baleful moan fills the waterfront for the first time in a century. Ahead of him, a fully rigged three masted ship beckons and Frank knows he is trapped; trapped in the grip of a diabolical and deadly intent. He is a prisoner of the tangle of the times.
