Freedom From Bondage—One Day At A Time In A.A. is a personal journey in recovery expressed through a series of sections on Alcoholism & Addiction, The Alcoholic Mind, A.A. & the Program of Recovery, A.A. & God, The Meaning of a Spiritual Life, two Big Book stories and the Steps, Traditions & Concepts. Within each section are reflections on topics from the Big Book and commonly discussed in A.A. meetings. We alcoholics have common problems, and a common solution through the 12 Step program and support of our Fellowship. The anecdotes in Freedom From Bondage celebrate the power of A.A. to relieve us of our hopeless state of mind and body, and suggest that anyone can find emotional sobriety and a new design for living through A.A.
