About the Book

All alone in the world, Happy Squirrel is faced with many choices. He does his best to do the right thing because he wants to share God’s love with others. However, he finds that doing the right thing is not always the easiest choice. 

On his adventure to find a new home, Happy sees a lot of the beauty in God’s creation and meets a few new critters! He also finds that the attitudes and actions of others can sometimes make it difficult to make good choices and do what is right. Ultimately, he learns what it means to trust God for courage and that helping others, even when they aren’t kind, is a great way to show God’s love. 


About the Author

Brandee is a registered nurse who is very passionate about children. She worked for thirteen years in a pediatric hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is now a nurse coordinator in the public school system. Brandee volunteers at a Christ-centered after-school program and volunteers at a Christian summer camp. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband of fifteen years and has two daughters.
