Cassandra wasn't looking for a conspiracy.

She was only doing her job.

A classified file appears in her system—one that doesn't belong in her department. What she finds inside leaves her with more questions than answers: transported subjects, unexplained casualties, experimental organisms, and containment protocols that authorize lethal force.

She reports what she found.

Then everything changes.

Her access is revoked. Her calls go unanswered. The people she trusted suddenly become unreachable.

And someone comes looking for her.

Grant is a professional killer with a simple assignment: find Cassandra and eliminate her. But when his target proves far more difficult to reach than expected, the job begins to unravel—and Grant starts to realize there is much more behind the contract than he was told.

Cassandra doesn't know who she can trust.

Grant doesn't know who hired him.
