I Said That

This book is not about a child who is another Curious George or even a Dennis the Menace. This book is about Sean the Outspoken. The book covers Sean's life from age 2 to 10 years. It is about his comments on different aspects of his surroundings. He could hold a meaningful conversation and ask you so many questions, that you would make up something to do just to get a break!
At 2 years old, his favorite word was actually. His great grandfather used it a lot, and Sean adopted it as his own. One morning at day care the teacher said something about sign language, and Sean says, "actually it's done like this", and then it was, "actually he was out of line". The teacher told his mother about it and said that she was surprised that he was using the word correctly.
Sean is now 14 years old and still outspoken; he wants to be on his school's debate team. Because he lost his father at such an early age (5 months), my daughter and I often wondered if he was his father reincarnated.
