When U.S. Marshal Custis Long is ordered to find an old Indian nemesis, he knows the job is going to be rough. Many Thumbs has hopped the reservation with a band of followers, and Longarm has to find out why. Turns out a preacher rode onto the reservation and spread the good word so well that Many Thumbs not only converted, but turned into a peace-loving, God-fearing bible-thumper.
