Nicholas Rattenni was the owner of A-1 Compaction, a Westchester County, New York garbage disposal business. Rattenni's name surfaced during the U.S. Senate Rackets Committee hearings. Testifying in October 1963, Mafia turncoat and former Genovese mobster Joseph Valachi, mentioned Rattenni as a mobster. Rattenni was also closely involved with several Westchester County council members, i.e. Frank A. Adamo, etc. Also known as Cockeye Nick and The Garbage King of Westchester, Rattenni served time in Danbury Federal Prison.
