Outshined

HOW DO YOU FIGHT AN ENEMY WHO CAN ENSLAVE YOU WITH A GLANCE?

Wally was once a legendary hero of the Denver Defense Force. Now, he's an aging, caffeinated desk jockey babysitting a federal holding facility. But when an unidentified kid survives four point-blank police rounds without a heartbeat, Wally's quiet night goes sideways.

The kid goes by Necro. He died in 1994, but his shine keeps him moving—body to body, grave to grave. He's spent decades working off the grid, but his latest hunt is bigger than rogue gangs or cartel soldiers.

Dracula wasn't a myth.

A hidden pod of vampires has quietly embedded itself across the Colorado Front Range, preying on the sick, manipulating media narratives, and turning local law enforcement into obedient, mind-controlled thralls. With Denver's federal backup sidelined by a global shiner war, Wally, Necro, and a hacker known as Screens find themselves on the front line of an invisible invasion.

If they step into the light, they're branded as monsters. If they look the enemy in the eye, they lose their minds. And in a war where corpses change sides overnight, trusting the wrong ally is deadlier than a bullet to the chest.
