Positive Influence Zine Anthology

This anthology contains all 6 original issues of the vintage DIY hardcore punk 'zine, 'Positive Influence,' a 21 page introduction by PI 'zinestress, Anji Bee, featuring archival materials including photos, flyers, artwork, and personal stories from those times. Anji interviewed her 'zine partner, Buster, and her brother, Brian, for additional background and insight into the mid to late 80's So CA punk scene and what it was like to live and create in a time before personal computers and the Internet. This digital version of the anthology contains a dozen bonus pages chock full of live band photos from Anji's personal collection. Additionally, many photos are available in color, unlike the print edition. This book is truly a labor of love and an interesting look at one woman's experience navigating the male dominated world of hardcore and straight edge punk rock.
