When a winter storm traps stewardess Patty Byrne and her crew at a Chicago layover hotel, all she wants is a hot shower and a soft bed. Instead, she wakes to a maid's scream and discovers her fellow stewardess dead in the room next door.

The police have their prime suspect: a married pilot rumored to be having an affair with Carol. It's neat. It's simple. It makes perfect sense.

But Patty isn't convinced.
