A Nobel Prize winning Irish dramatist and author, one of the founders of the Irish Literary Revival, William Butler Yeats is considered one of the twentieth century's key English language poets. A Symbolist poet, he had published during his life several volumes of plays and poetry, which are characterized dreamlike atmosphere, folk motifs and symbols.
