The Sixth Book of Oz

In my earlier review of the The Road to Oz, I hoped that the quality of the books would remain good as it was, but I didn’t expect to read a still better book!
The way this one is told, alternating between Dorothy in Oz and the recruitment mission of Guph in Ev, was an unexpected new approach.
The threat of attack was getting closer while Dorothy and the others were showing Oz for her Uncle and Aunt, without realizing the danger approaching.
I’m only in the 6 book out of 13 and the world of Oz is so huge already. I’m really hoping for a even better story next time! 10/10

P.S It’s funny to note that in the end of each book, a certain writer tells us that it was the last one, then at the beginning of the next one he gives in to the pressure of the children and writes a continuation.
