Glolindir, an elven mage, believed he had mastered arcane magic—until a mythical creature nearly ended his life. He only survived thanks to his newfound friends: a dual weapon warrior as daring as he is reckless, a roguish halfling whose knives are nearly as sharp as his tongue, and a saintly gnome whose healing touch borders on the divine.

Yet their trials were far from over.

Soon they are drawn into the deadly web of shadows that threatens the small town of Ravenford. From forests cloaked in darkness, to caverns echoing with ancient dread, to the haunted remains of crumbling ruins, they face monstrous foes and evil forces. Can they overcome their pride and recklessness—or will they fall, one by one, to the rising darkness.
