The Trails of Manifest Destiny

This book is a guidebook for a twelve day trip that follows all the trails of Manifest Destiny, The Corps of Discovery, the Austrians, the mountain men, missionaries, and pioneers as the United States moved west in the mid 19th Century. It also evaluates the impact of this movement on Native Americans and Mexican citizens. The book includes pictures taken during previous trips that followed this itinerary. The book can also be used by classroom teachers when teaching about westward expansion.
