In 866AD the Vikings, led by Prince Ivar of Denmark, invade York. Captain Bronwolf’s mission is to abduct King Aelle’s daughter and hold her hostage. But the princess has been whisked away to safety; instead, he captures her look-alike maid Ella...someone he has no business being attracted to.
Ella quickly realizes in order to protect herself from becoming a plaything for the Viking warriors, she must pretend to be the princess.
The plan backfires when Ivar decides to make her his bride. Can she trust Bronwolf with her secret?
