What Symbol‪?‬

Many people ask, “Why do catholics believe that the bread and wine used in Holy Communion are actually and literally changed into the true Body and Blood of our Savior Jesus Christ?” Doesn’t the bread and wine only represent a symbol of His body and blood?”


For my protestant brothers and sisters, and my fellow catholic ones too, who may not understand and appreciate this great Gift, I say; “welcome”, come and let us explore and contemplate the words of Jesus, as written in the Gospel of St. John, Chapter 6. I will be using the New International Version (NIV) Bible.
