World Geography

What is geography? Why role does geography play in the world today? When defined in a dictionary, geography is translated as the description of the Earth. The science of geography includes not just the physical aspects of the Earth such as landforms, natural processes like earthquakes but also the animal and vegetative species of the Earth. Geography also includes the human aspects of the Earth, from the various cultures to the behaviors of the humans who inhabit the Earth. The science of geography enables us to examine and explain our world. This book explains the basic concepts of geography literacy.
