World War Two: Illustrated Histories

For this book, we asked each student in our Grade 10 International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) History class to create a chapter examining an aspect of World War Two that captured their interest. This is the third volume we have created on World War Two. Volume one was published in early 2013, volume two created in late 2013 and volume three was finished in March 2014. 


At the Western Academy of Beijing, we celebrate the achievements of all of our learners and we proud to showcase our students’ work.  We believe that the iPad has played a key role in transforming the learning and enhancing student outcomes in the History classroom. By publishing online, there is a public and permanent record of the work; a wider global audience.
