Cat is kind of, maybe, definitely, on a break with her boyfriend back home when she meets a hot Navy S.E.A.L. overseas. After all, it is just one night, enough to get over her boyfriend and not jump right into another relationship. She’s also not sure she’s done with Owen, though she doesn’t want to be the kind of wife he wants.

Owen is the boyfriend back home who has it all – looks, pedigree, career as a surgeon – and wants it all. Specifically, he wants the picture-perfect house and family, and a wife dedicated to keeping it all running smoothly for him.

Cat is caught in the middle when she goes back overseas. Not only does she bump into the one-night-stand she was never supposed to see again, but she may need him for more than between-the-sheets action as the security situation heats up.
