Yvette's Chair

Everyone admires Yvette's French antique chair. It seems as though it has always been there in the background, playing a part in the lives of so many people.

The story begins in 1895 in Naples and follows the lives and loves of Franco Mutaro and three generations of the Laurenzi family. They originated from Milan, and now live in the leafy, English home counties. This is where Michael Laurenzi now manages the successful business founded by his grandfather Stephano, just after the second world war.
