APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Even in an epic fantasy filled with faeries and magic, it’s crucial to know who your friends are. Feyre has already travelled to the mystical land of Prythian and been granted magical powers in the previous books in Sarah J. Maas’ Court of Thorns and Roses series. Now, she must embroil herself in a web of subterfuge and deceit, navigating Prythian’s conflict with a neighbouring kingdom. But Feyre is brave enough to do a little scheming of her own, learning to assert her own power in a major way. (Seriously—at one point, she literally learns to fly.) We were totally enthralled by this epic listen full of awesome world-building and larger-than-life characters. That’s where this adaptation really ups the audiobook game, peppering the story with music, sound effects, and a whole cast of narrators to make you feel utterly transported. Prepare to be swept away by the excitement, the intrigue, and the magic.
