Sacrifices and desperation in forbidden love
I enjoyed the tension when Alessandra must decide what she will sacrifice for love. We hear the swish of gowns, the echoes in palaces, the lapping of the River at the bridges. We feel the cobblestone through slippers and smell the paints used to create the forbidden portrait. We experience the desperation in love.
