Cassies Ruler (Unabridged‪)‬

A murder at a small harness track in western Illinois is resurrected and this leads to the hiring of Bertrand McAbee, a reluctant PI who was formerly a classics professor. He eventually finds himself in the middle of a pursuit for a vicious serial killer. It seems like McAbee cannot avoid violence. He, along with a cohort of memorable helpers, explore harness racing, serial killers, and the maintenance of ethics in a world of virtual chaos.
