Deception (Dark Matter‪)‬

Your only hope is a dead girl.

Shay has survived the epidemic. But she's not out of the woods yet. Believing herself to be a Typhoid Mary–style carrier, she surrenders herself to the Army and is drafted as a test subject in the hunt for a cure. When the lab holding her prisoner is attacked, she escapes with the help of Kai's hated stepfather and becomes entangled in Multiverse, a cult-like group with murky goals and brutal methods. 

Meanwhile, Kai and Callie team up with other survivors of the Aberdeen Flu in a race to escape capture and find Shay before it's too late.
