Publisher Description
Andie Ngo hasn’t met a bad decision she won’t make. But tonight might turn out to be the best bad decision of her life.
Desperate for money after her deadbeat brother left her holding the bill for his bail bond, night nurse Andi agrees to take on a mysterious one time nursing gig. When she finds out her employer is ruthless billionaire and all around asshole Damian Blackwood, she’s determined to get the job done and get out as quickly as possible.
But nothing is as it seems, when a monster attacks and she is saved by an honest-to-god dragon: a golden scaled, sixty foot long, violent dragon…who is clearly Damian’s other half. Her world is spun sideways but she can’t forget the way he looked at her, like coveted treasure he’s desperate to steal away for his hoard. The way he reacted when she discovered his secret. The way that when he was human again he…asked her for a date.
Fierce and independent Andi doesn’t trust easily. The expensive suits, fancy cars and spooky castle can’t hide the truth: Damian is extremely dangerous, not to mention a monstrous beast.
She should say no. But what if she says yes?

Entertaining!
This is the first book in the Prince of the Other Worlds series, a Slow Burn Sexy Paranormal Romance. Damian and Andi's story is steamy, and intriguing, filled with action, mystery, and twists and turns. Victoria Mei did an excellent job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Dragon Fated, the next book in the series, to know what happens next.
A good start to something much bigger
Book 1 of a 4 book series. Best read in order as it's one continuous story and the HEA doesn't happen until book 4.
Damian is a dragon shifter who fights bad stuff trying to get into our world from the other world. Portals open, bad things come through and Damian makes the bad things stop. Along the way, he protects normal people by making them forget anything otherworldly.
Andi is a nurse. She works nights because it pays better and she's now taking extra jobs whenever she can find them because her twin brother is in trouble and needs bail money. The job she ends up on is quickly becoming more than she bargained for. Monsters, portals and dragons... oh my.
And we can't forget the magical cat. I love Grim so much and I think you will too. a little bit of fun in all the monster hunting heavy.
The ending on this one isn't really a cliff. It's part 1 of 4 so it's like episodes of a TV show. You know there's more to the over arching story, you know there is more to come, but this specific portion is resolved enough to walk away. It's not a satisfying ending, you definitely want to come back and get the next installment of the story.
The audio for this part of Damian & Andi's story is narrated solo by Victoria Mei. I love her voice. The base narration is soothing, her emotional extremes are felt down my spine, from a sultry whisper to a panicked scream, to a passionate gasp, everything you hear can be felt.
I requested and was provided with a copy of this audiobook. This review contains my honest thoughts.
