Entertaining!
This is the second book in the Echo Power Trilogy, a dark, steamy dystopian paranormal romance. The story continues where the first book left off. The storyline is action packed, entertaining, and captivating. Connor Crais and Lucy Rivers did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Echo Unbound.
The World is ending… again!
Book 2 in the Echo Power Trilogy. You can read it on it's own, but everything is so much better if you start at the beginning.
Grant lost everything when the alchemy of worlds started. He's doing his best to support his new community and burning the candle at both ends trying to find a way to make the world safe again.
Erin is former military and can hold her own against anything that comes her way. But she and Grant are like oil and water. He sees her as reckless and impulsive, but she sees it as using her skills to help their community.
But when the end of the world seems to start up again, these two are forced to work together to try and stabilize the situation. They plan on taking the fight to the source and enter the Echo. Isolated from everyone they know, Grant and Erin will have to rely on each other to figure out how to survive the Echo and stop the end of the world... again.
The audio for this book was performed by Connor Crais and Lucy Rivers. Conner was the perfect tortured hero, he was conflicted over his feelings for Erin and the desire to honour his wife and child that died when the world started ending. He's gruff and grumpy but also deliciously dirty when he finally gives in to his desires. Lucy is delightful as Erin, bada$$ and ready to tackle any obstacle. She's a little angry, a little scared and a lot outside the box, but always up for the task of saving the world.
