The pinnacle of extreme horro
This book is praised in the extreme horror community. Every word is true. The time the book was written and the setting for the novel are absolutely key to the narrative within. A keen rhetorical lens into the AIDs epidemic hide in what might be handled by a lesser writer as a basic slash fanfiction between Jeffrey Dahmer and Dennis Nilsen is instead a macabre tale about the hopelessness of the time. This isn’t just one of my favourite subversive novels of all time but genuinely one of my favourite novels of all time. It strikes at the core of something that should never be forgotten by humanity.
