Lots of unanswered questions
- So, what’s the deal with her dad? Did he get lost in the Bermuda Triangle or what?
- And her relationship with her mom? Last we heard, Mom was spilling the family tea about the sister’s demise, and then it’s like she vanished faster than a magician at a kids’ birthday party!
- As for her bestie, come on! You can’t just drive for hours to visit a pal and then peace out because they’re all “I’m so happy in my new life.” That’s not how friendship works!
- Speaking of complicated, the book kicks off with the heroine dreaming of wedding bells—so is Daniel going to pop the question or just keep her hanging like a piñata at a birthday bash?
- And what about the inn? We see renovations happening, but did it turn into a five-star resort or is it still a glorified shack? A little update would be great—like “Welcome to the Inn of Awesomeness” or “We’ve Got Hot Water Now!”
- Honestly, an epilogue wouldn’t have hurt! I mean, I’m dying to know if they live happily ever after or if they just end up in a sitcom rerun.
- Also, can we talk about the relationship with Daniel? There's so much focus on her personal crises, I thought I was reading a therapy session instead of a romance novel! It took longer for them to kiss than it did for me to finish my ice cream! And let’s be real—this is a romance novel, not a slow-cooked stew!

The accent is horrible. Particularly for a US based novel and even worse for the male roles. Could not continue past mid chapter three
