Beautiful Story!
This is the first book in the Ardor Creek Series, a Small Town Romance. Ashlyn and Scott's enemies to lovers story is beautifully written, sweet, emotional, fun, and heartwarming. Ashlyn is a wonderful character, feisty, strong, smart, and independent. She rightly walked away from her unfaithful ex fiancé, Robert. I like the little paranormal side of the story, with her Grandma's presumably haunted house. Scott, a contractor, is handsome, sexy, and grumpy. His past is heartbreaking. They are two beautiful souls, mature, successful, loyal, honest, and reliable. They share a strong chemistry. This is a beautiful journey to love. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a fantastic job with the duet narration. I love their voices together, and they are perfect as Ashlyn and Scott. This is a great team author/narrators. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to Illusions Unveiled, Peter and Carrie's story, the next book in the Series.
