Argh.
I downloaded this book on the fly for my son who is obsessed with mummies and Egypt. I knew it would be a risk given that it is not a Children's book. But really...the fact that it is narrated by a woman with a thick Brit accent really made it unlistenable. It would have been hard enough to deal with the phraseology e.g.,
"Gleaming spectrally on her bosom...drawn and pallid as if some wasting malady..." But with the accent, forget it. Even I found it hard to follow. I don't recommend.
