Incredible Small Town Romance
Shay and Noah’s slow burn love story gave me all the feels. Noah’s grumpy and Gennie’s sunshine was the perfect mix to turn Shay’s world right side up. I loved that this story touched on sensitive subjects while making me fall in love with the town of Friendship and the two people who swore they’d leave it in their rear view. Gennie stole my heart from the beginning. She was cheeky and funny and full of sass. This small town romance had me laughing out loud and wishing it would never end. I highly recommend this 5 star must read/listen.
I loved this story enough to enjoy it twice. Kit Swann and Jason Clarke did an incredible job of bringing Kate Canterbary’s characters and the town of Friendship to life.
Sweet Romance!
Shay and Noah's fake relationship, and slow burn romance, is beautifully written, sweet, and engaging. Shay is a wonderful character, smart, and determined. Noah, a single dad to his niece, is very handsome, and caring. They are perfect together. I liked his young niece! She is so cute, and funny! The story is set in a small town. The storyline is slow paced, and heartwarming, filled with humor, and drama. Excellent narration from Jason Clarke and Kit Swann. #HomeCookedBooks
