Just do it
The first step is always the hardest. Your mind will create all kinds of scenarios to keep you from taking that first scary step toward your goal.
But that doesn't mean you're a coward. It's just your brain's way of fighting back.
Sometimes you have to listen to what your heart has to say and just do it. Everything else will be much easier once you get over the first hurdle and that's to ignore your brain's dire warnings and go with your gut. It's simply about taking that leap of faith.
Doing something does not always imply that it is physical
Don't confuse the need to take action with literally or physically doing something. There are many other ways to take action without even lifting a finger. For that matter, consider the act of planning.
It is never wise to try to achieve a goal without a plan. It is very important that you make a step-by-step plan to achieve it. A good plan takes into account all the potential consequences, as well as all the possible avenues you can take to reach your goal.
