Pretty good
The rise of the main character is interesting. It does take a while to get underway, but i think it was important to show how huge the obstacles were. Overall I was happy with this book.
Excellent book, but...
I thoroughly enjoyed most of this book, an innovative take on "the day the aliens arrive", the story of building the company from nothing was well done, but the early stories of asteroid mining rather drag on, and on, and on...
This book and the sequel are quite enjoyable - well worthwhile. Another great Ringo book.
My sole complaint is a common one among many audiobooks - why don't they hire a woman to do the female voices? This narrator is fairly talented, but in another book I recently listened to, a narrator with a voice like Darth Vader tried to do giggling teenaged girl voices - it just didn't work.
