Among the twelve guests are a famous film star, an artist, an Italian nobleman, a government spy, and the Glaysayer sisters, one of whom is a mysterious clairvoyant and the other is a society ‘Bright Young Thing’.


As the party gets going, and a thirteenth house guest unexpectedly arrives, the champagne flows, and the snowstorm outside turns unsettlingly into a blizzard. Then their host, Lord Robin, is found murdered, and another guest too. But why?

Cut off, and with no help coming, the Inspector and Posie’s skills are tested to breaking point as they try to find the murderer before they attack again.
