Publisher Description
In the middle of a crowded bar in our small Alaskan town, my estranged wife snuggles up to me as if we’re still a happy couple.
Don’t get me wrong, we were a happy couple - before she walked out on me a year ago. We were the high school sweethearts everyone thought were destined to be together forever. We thought so, too, which is why we married shortly after graduation.
We had a good marriage. Until she left me without any real explanation. Now, she’s back - and this is the real kicker - she has amnesia and thinks I’m still her husband. Technically I am, although the divorce papers are sitting at the lawyer’s office. She’s desperate to remember her life in Sunrise Bay, but I only want to find out why she left me. Once we conjure that memory up, it’s sayonara because there’s no second chances here. But as you probably already figured out, things didn’t go quite as I planned.

My Almost Ex
"I'm in. You've always been mine, Lucy Greene. I've fought for you my entire life and I'm not giving up on us yet."
A fun and emotional second chance romance with all the feels and family hijinks everyone loves.
Adam and Lucy were high school sweethearts, so when Lucy walks out on Adam he is confused. A year later while in the middle of a crowded bar, Lucy walks back into Adam's life and acts as if they are still the happy couple they always were. Lucy has amnesia and wants to remember her life in Sunrise Bay and Adam is determined to find out why she left him so he agrees to help her figure everything out.
Heading back to Alaska is always a fun time. There are always bound to be some hijinks between Ethel and Dori. We got a lot more from Ethel and Dori in this book. You could sense the love and passion between Adam and Lucy even with Adam trying to deny them. This book was a little deeper than the other books especially when they finally realize why Lucy left in the first place. I am really enjoying this new series and after the ending, I am highly looking forward to the next book in the series.
Audio: A great job by Jacob Morgan and Virginia Rose bringing the story and characters to life.
Adam and Lucy!
Adam has known since he was a teenager that Lucy was his future and he thought nothing could come between them until the day she came to him and not only told him she no longer loved him but disappeared from his life as well. He has spent the last year trying to pick up the pieces of his life only to have her re-appear and not only forget that they are no longer together but why she left him in the first place.
Lucy suffered a serious accident and has lost her short-term memory. When she comes to town she immediately remembers Adam but she doesn’t remember parts of their past and especially why she left. The last year has changed them both however the feelings between them burn stronger than ever but if her memories return will it bring them closer or tear them apart?
Seeing the flashbacks of their life together enabled us to see how enduring their love was as they take us on an emotional journey as they fight to find their way back to each other. The narrators did a great job at bringing out all the feels of the characters and their story.
A Beautiful Second Chance to Love!
